Tokyo - Minami-Aoyama VINTAGE KIMONO & OBI

We started this business at the Oriental Bazaar in the Omotesando area of Tokyo in 1950, soon after the end of the war and for 56 years since then we have been continuously dealing with vintage kimono and obi. There was a time when many Japanese were totally fascinated by the Western way of life and completely lost interest in kimonos, still during that period we continued showing the wonder and the fine quality of Japanese culture by selling beautiful kimonos and obis to many non Japanese clients.

After a long stay in Omotesando, we moved to a new location in Minami Aoyama, just a very short walk from Aoyama-dori. The new shop is in a quiet residential area.

We still uphold our long-established policy of offering kimonos and obis of the highest quality at reasonable prices, which is possible only because of our long experience in this field. We are waiting for you to visit us and take a look at our kimono and obi selection.
Our staff understands English and will make things easy for you. We can also arrange upon request kitsuke sessions for dressing you up in kimono according to traditional or modern Japanese criteria.
